Anyone get into Nike 1/2 marathon?

| OP here- I got an email overnight that I didn't get in. I did the Rock-n-roll 1/2 last year and wasn't impressed. Any suggestions for a well organized 1/2 coming up in the spring (in the DC area)? |

For those who didn't get in, try the Marine Corps Half in Fredericksburg. I haven't run it since it moved from quantico a few years ago, but it was always a well-run race that is a lot of fun.
I have friends who got in. (I stick to 10-milers these days.) |

That's too bad to hear, because I didn't get in to the Nike race either, and was thinking of the Rock-n-roll as a substitute. I did the Marine Corps Half in Fredericksburg a few years ago, and enjoyed it....except for the fact that the "grand finish" was in the strip mall to end all strip malls. Otherwise, it was a good race. |

| I got into the nike half (hooray) and am also running the Rock n roll half. It sounds like they have are making a lot of improvements to the RnR this year so hopefully it will be a better experience. |
