I'm interested in finding one skin care regimen that really works. If anyone is getting consistently good results, please share!!!

I bet no one does this. My grandmother uses medical tape to tape her skin up at night. She has been doing this for decades. one piece on her forehead and one on each cheek. She is 82 and looks 52. People always think she is my mom's sister. Although it probably helps that she eats super super healthy.

I use Trader Joe's Tangerine Sugar Scrub once or twice a week, and LOVE it. It was recommended to me here and countless other places. It's a great all-natural exfoliator and the citrus smelling oil makes my skin so soft and supple. I can definitely see a difference. As for moisturizers, I am using ARBONNE, but can't see any spectacular change from it yet. And, of course, I always look better the more sleep I get!

I wash with Cetaphil and use Clinique Dramatically different moisturizer. Try to get a facial every couple months. I know I should use eye cream by now - but haven't gotten around to it! Tried a million expensive (and not) moisturizers but keep going back to Clinique -- seems to work best for my skin. A good friend of mine who's in her mid 50s has the most gorgeous skin! Aside from good genes, and NO sun whatsoever, she attributes it to once a month facials.

I use a 4% benzoyl peroxide wash and clindamyacin lotion (it's lotion with an antibitotic in it), along with Obagi daily eye gel. I could use some more moisturizing. Occasionally I use Eucerin's non-comodegenic SPF 15 face lotion. I also use Kinerase on my neck.

My biggest concern, which drives all this, is not breaking out. I had beautiful skin and no acne for the first 35 years of my life (except for a brief period in grad school), but post-pregnancies, this is my lucky lot in life - to be obsessed with acne!

I hear Prevage is really, really good for acne and anti-aging, but it was far too strong for me to use it. I peeled like crazy.

Is the Kinerase neck cream any good? Do you have experience with any of their other products?

I'm 50 and my skin looks great -- almost no crows feet, eyes still not droopy, and no jowels. My only complaint is that the skin under my chin is getting a little soft, and I'd love to find something for that.

This is my routine. When I wash my face at the sink, I use Cetaphil cleanser. When I wash my face in the shower, I use a shea butter soap with lavender made by Nubian Heritage, which I mail order from NY. It exfoliates gently but completly. On my eyes day and night I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin eye cream. On my face I use Avalon Organics Vitamin C facial serum. Occasionally I use Aqua Glycolic facial cleanser. My goals are to keep the skin exfoliated and feed it vitamins. I also take a multivitamin and extra vitamin D3 and fish oil supplements. I don't use any other moisturizers or night creams or department store products. If I need sunscreen, I use Avalon Organics Vitamin C moisturizer with SPF 15, and put the excess on the backs of my hands.

My mother always puts the extra facial sunscreen on the backs of her hands, and they look 30 years younger than her age -- smooth and clear, unwrinkled and no age spots, even though she's in her 70s. Her dermatologist joked about putting a photo of her hands up in on the wall of his office so he could tell people their hands would look that nice in their 70s if they always put sunscreen on them.

I'm the poster from above. I just use the regular cream, not a special neck cream (didn't know there was one!). It is very good. I even used an expired tube on my hands. But, it makes me break out (like practically everything. Sigh.)

They sell it at drugstore.com, btw. MUCH cheaper than getting it from my dermatologist!

If you are interested in Arbonne please email me at pcrichey@yahoo.com. I think I have some sample packets of the entire anti aging line that I could put in the mail to you.

For me it is the best eye cream I have ever used. I don't really have crows feet but it has really helped with dark circles and puffy eyes.

No skin care regimen could ever work for all skin types. But-generally no soap or hot water at all. I only cleanse with gentle wipes-bay wipes actually w/aloe works well--and Khiels eye cream--most think I look 40, 37 on a good day.

The most effective nightime skin care is having sex with my husband.

I swear by Cetaphil too. Clinique products are good for me as well. But I like Bliss Eye Cream right now.

My regimen?

Wash morning and night with Cetaphil. Bliss eye cream to follow.

I am religious about sunblock. Daily. For years now.

I have become a believer in Olay Regenerist lotion. Tried it after seeing it mentioned all the time on another board I frequent, and - although it is more scented than I like - I totally swear by it now. I have both pimples and wrinkles/age spots. It has made my overall complexion more clear and healthy looking.

My husband doesn't come to this forum, so I have no "honey" here. I truly believe the best skin regimen that works for me is having sex with my husband and being happy in the relationship . Wrinkles and expression lines come from not so happy moments. Drinking plenty of water is key for me, too.
