Or a video without any editing. There will be people who say it's fake but it will still dispell a bunch of rumors. |
DP. What’s wildly out of control is your identification and obsession with a princess in another country. |
There has been a lot of speculation about Charles and abdication. Not at all what he wants people to be talking about. |
This is unhinged. |
Still. Yes, you can mess a little with exposure and speed on those cameras, but most don’t. |
This, the speculation is out of control because they're being deceptive. Not just with the public but with media outlets too |
+1 |
No, they are always careful about their image. The speculation is out of control because of that Spanish "journalist" who said that Kate is/was in a coma. That's the crazy part. |
Agreed, the fact that they won't produce an unedited photo makes no sense if this were just an innocent mistake. The assumption is that the original photo would make it obvious that the photoshopping was not typical. Also, once people online figured out that the clothes really make it appear that this photo (or some original version of this photo) was actually from last year, they are probably afraid of confirming this suspicion because that will reveal that they outright lied by claiming to news agencies that it was taken last week. It kind of feels like they are not being advised by a PR team at all. Because a PR team likely would not have approved the original release of the MD photo (they'd either suggest a more professionally edited photo that had less glaring errors, or an actual new photo staged to hide whatever it is they want to hide, or no photo at all). They definitely wouldn't have approved having a statement from "C" claiming this was all the result of her amateur photoshop oopsie. Now they either have to stick with their lies, which are transparent, or issue ANOTHER mea culpa that is actually believable. They've made such a huge mess and I really cannot tell if it's due to incompetence, or trying to cover up something really bad, or both. I actually think she deserves privacy during her recovery, btw. But I actually think KP is working against that by making such a mess that it's only encouraging more speculation and interest. There was a way to do this so she had actual privacy (see, for instance, how Buckingham has handled the king's diagnosis, and used strategically released info and photos/videos to keep people from asking too many questions or being upset if they don't get answers). That's actually what professional PR teams do, to some extent -- shield their clients from prying questions and speculation by crafting a satisfying story for the public that can be packaged and sold. It is extremely weird to me that KP doesn't seem to understand that, or that William or Catherine or both or someone else were so hubristic as to think they didn't have to play that game. |
Can you even take RAW shots with it? What you’d need for photoshop. |

We deserve trump as president again. Morons everywhere.
Kate doesn’t like the unedited photo and doesn’t want to release it. This isn’t rocket science. |
What I don't get is all celebrity photos are edited. Look at Kim Kardashian: she edits candids even so people can't see she has bad skin, so much so I've seen very very few pics of her real skin. So why is this a scandal now to have a woman release an edited pic? |
I think someone (william) thinks he knows better and isn't listening to the staff or Kate. |
But nothing like rampant speculation about a crisis abdication. More similar to the speculation QE2 would abdicate in Charles’ favor. The speculation around Kate is much wilder and it’s self-inflicted because it involves actual deception. |
She doesn't have to release it to the public but cam still send it to the agencies. Stop blaming this on Kate as if she's the issue. |
