| or is it match or okcupid now? |
| Why would anybody use jdate |
| jdate, 17 years ago, was a great place to meet other jewish people. Though I preferred yenta.com before jdate bought them out. |
|
so i gather the answer is no.
met long time boyfriend there 10 years ago. going back on line now and take it that match is the one to try now.... |
| I met my husband on OKCupid. He had the first profile that convinced me to give a non-Jew a chance. |
My friends have only met cons on OK cupid |
| But if a guy is on jdate, he is probably looking for more than a hook-up, because he is seeking someone with the same religious background - probably for a relationship. |

I'm Jewish and was on Jdate, have tried Match, OKC and a couple other over the past several years. I wanted to meet someone Jewish, had a couple 6 month relationships from there, and then there was never anybody new. And common religious beliefs didn't necessarily mean good boyfriend material.
I'd say give it a short try, see what you think, and then if no luck, go on OKC or Match (I preferred OKC, but there is a lot of weeding out on any site). I think, like life, you have to keep your wits about you and really see the guy for who he is. Most of the men I met on Jdate were also on other sites. |
met my husband on it, together 12 years |
| I like jewish asses |
