Bubble starting to burst

I think the bubble is starting to burst at the bottom end. At the higher end though I don't see much limit to what Harvard et al can afford to charge. But second-rate institutions will need to cut prices if they are going to survive, and the pressure will feed up to at least the middle-ranking colleges.

do you think any in the top 50 will ever have to change?

I would think this would affect schools like PSU, but then I remember when I was there how many semi-wealthy out of state north east kids were attending.

PSU enrollment is actually up this year.

Evidence that there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Another interesting PSU fact: it's the highest priced state school for in state tuition.

PSU enrollment is actually up this year.

Yep. Up 1.6%, mostly through exclusive online enrollment worldwide. Branch campus enrollment is down.
