I was just forwarded a list that had books about black/white, white/latino, white/asian and also one really good book called "Violet" about a purple girl who has a red mom and a blue dad (so it works for any race). Hopefully you'll find something that works for your family on this http://lettersandlullabies.com/2013/11/22/10-awesome-books-for-children-of-mixed-race/

This is great to explain race, orientation, adoption, foster care and every other kind of family out there. I really like it. Its a cute neutral book.

It's not really a kids' book, but my daughters really loved Part Asian, 100% Hapa by Kip Fulbeck. The photos are lovely, as are the captions the subjects provided.

Fulbeck has also done Mixed: Portraits of Multiracial Kids.
