camila (Norethindrone) birth control while BF

Has anyone used this pill while BF? It's a Progestin-only pill. Any side effects? Did you get pregnant while on it? How long were you on it? Did it effect your milk supply?

I have been on camila for two months. My OB gave me the nuvaring and told me I would have only a 2% reduction in milk supply. Closer to having only 2% of my milk supply left. Then went to my GYN and they gave me camila -- but w/o explaining that it isn't anywhere as reliable as normal bc pills or the ring. Sigh. So still taking camila, but using back up methods -- either the vaginal film or a spermicide insert, AND my husband insists on pulling out. We love our daughter, but we couldn't deal with Irish twins. Good luck!
