Word Game thread on Off Topics

I notice that thread has been going on for three years and getting close to a thousand pages. Do you remember any other threads that have gone on as long and consistently as the word game?

I don't know of a longer thread (either in terms of number of posts or length of activity). Nor am I aware of a more useless thread.

I think that thread is for the fun of it and easier on the psyche than Miley, Kardashian, or some of the racially heated threads. Though they do elicit some thought provoking responses.
