Best baby/toddler cook book

Anonymous
My baby is about to start solids and I'm looking to buy a book with guidance on first solids, as well as recipes that will get us through the next year or so. We eat healthy/ from scratch (as much as possible) food in our house and some, but very little meat.

What are the best books? Any to avoid? Thanks.

Simply Natural Baby Foods by Cathe Olsen is a good little book. Mostly vegetarian.

For basic information (but also a lot of extraneous stuff) I like Super Baby Food, but you have to ignore some of the author's recommendations on nuts, etc. I like that she does provide basic nutritional and cooking information.

You may want to just check out what you can from the library first, before making any purchases.
