My baby is about to start solids and I'm looking to buy a book with guidance on first solids, as well as recipes that will get us through the next year or so. We eat healthy/ from scratch (as much as possible) food in our house and some, but very little meat.
What are the best books? Any to avoid? Thanks. |

Simply Natural Baby Foods by Cathe Olsen is a good little book. Mostly vegetarian.
For basic information (but also a lot of extraneous stuff) I like Super Baby Food, but you have to ignore some of the author's recommendations on nuts, etc. I like that she does provide basic nutritional and cooking information. You may want to just check out what you can from the library first, before making any purchases. |
