Split articulation (bussing) for the new BCC Middle School?

They ride the same bus. And, in fact the age disparity is even greater since it is the only situation where there are K and 6th grade on the same bus.

NP here. We are in the RHPS/CCES cachement. I think a priority should be keeping all the RHPS kids together for middle school. So I'd like to see all kids who go to CCES and NCCES feed to the same middle school. I don't really care which school it is. It appears that options 1 and 6 do that. I like option 1 more because it leaves room at the school for growth--seems like otherwise it will very quickly become overcrowded.

Is there a way for me to communicate my preference?

There will be a survey from MCPS on the options in May

CCES should have had a meeting?

I totally agree with you and I can't believe that 2/3 of the options have these kids losing friends twice. It's ridiculous.

We are not yet at the school (next year will be our first year in K). But I will see if there is a way to write a letter.
