NVA really cut its nose to spite its face. Some seem to think Loudoun is the B team…when reality is they aren’t even that far behind if at all. How come the top players aren’t on one or the other??? I don’t get it.

I wouldn't celebrate that too much, though. Everybody knows NVA is Loudoun's A team. VRSC's A teams beat B teams. They'll have a date with NVA soon enough.

How did NVA do against SYC?

0-4 lost to SYC.
yikes… how? Kids getting appeasement playing up still?

NVA really handed that game to SYC. Their first goal was off a PK. NVA had 4 or 5 shots on goal in the first have that they should have scored. Then an NVA own goal off corner, the rest basically all defensive error on NVA's part. NVA also missed a PK and threw away a free kick opportunity. SYC didn't even seem too strong in my opinion and definitely didn't play pretty soccer. But, they handled business where it counted and were much more physical.

"Pretty soccer" is all fine and well but, in the end, results do matter. A "dirty" goal counts just as much as a beautiful one.

Cue all the parents/trolls/interested parties to have to say they don't care about anything but their kids learning to play beautiful soccer. Yeah right. That's why so many here are complete lunatics.

I agree with you SYC parent, a win is a win and you guys won it. But the coach does not care about winning and that's what is driving everything that is happening to the nva 11s right now.

NVA 11s are being sacrificed for the 10s and 12s. Hopefully we retool next year but not holding our collective breath.

Agree. The 2011 roster is volatile week in week out. Too much movement to 10s and 12s every weekend broke the team. The team was sucked dry.

My kid isn't on that team. I was just stating reality. "Pretty soccer" is all fine and well. However, not every kid is going to be a Modeic or Messi. There.is plenty of room in the game for Haalands, Casemiros and Rudigers.

Unfortunately not sure how they can retool. Just not sure where they would get the players. Are there girls on VDA/FVU that aren’t playing that would want to come back?
I think it’s more likely the top couple of NVA players leave for ECNL teams next year.

Do the 2011/ that play up practice with the 2011s or 2010s? Seems really tough to move girls weekly and build any kind of cohesion.

We're nobody's B team. We're Loudouns top team. When will you all get it that NVA is a separate club.

The IG post that HG posted and then some of his kids (parents) reposted is everything you need to know about who this is about.

Hint: it isnt your kid

Do Ryan and O’Hara from Loudoun no longer buddies with Hughes at NVA? I thought it was all a clique and that’s why quality coaches never get hired or promoted in those orgs.

2010 SYC Vs NVA was fun to watch. Ended in a 0-0 draw.

Why does it take so long for GA scores to post in GS/ the GA page? Greasing?

Isn’t it crazy that such ‘employee’ is likely picketing anywhere to the tune of $65K and up for that garbage service?

Home teams post the scores it may take time if the club sends them in in batches. Clubs may wait until Monday.
