The only true WCAC/IAC team that you could argue doesn't recruit is The Heights as the school offers no merit scholarships in general - but im sure they've worked a couple guys into the mix too.

Recruiting is part of DMVLAX, get over it - your school does it whether u want to admit it or not!

P.S - Its not too hard to tell the fact that those who are saying St. Alban's doesn't recruit are STA parents.

That’s some genius insight that STA parents, who know what’s going on at the school, are commenting. Well done. As opposed to you, who have zero facts but insist on making baseless assertions.

STA does not have merit scholarships, only need based. Athletes are not going there, ever, because they will pay less. If your family can pay, they do. As stated before, almost all of the kids on the team have been at the school since they were much younger, in the Lower School. No one could know if they would be good at lacrosse. This includes the kids you are referencing. If STA was a recruiting machine it would have a deeper lacrosse team and its other sports teams would be competitive, which they are largely not.

Just be happy with what you have instead of opining on things you know nothing about. Good luck on your season.

Stop talking about yourself in the 3rd person, we all know your a STA parent too.

First off, if STA doesnt recruit kids, why do they have a "prospect day"? That would make no sense... they posted on Instagram with 50 kids at the event. Secondly, I personally know the family of one of STA top Defenders very well. Coach Heeter was aggressive to get him into STA (which is again ok, as long as you dont pretend not to recruit) - he used his NL influcence to get the kid. Their FO coach also recuited a 2025 member heavily who had just moved to the area.

Ooh busted. If they have a prospect day advertised on IG they definitely recruit.

Debate is so dumb. Who cares if STA recruits. They need to recruit more or they’re not good at it

GZ's offense is average. Watched them play against Landon (might be the worst Landon teams I have seen in decades) earlier this week and there is too much standing around on the offensive end. Most of Gonzaga's goals came against failed clears and in transition. The Eagles don't face off particularly well either so that could be a major problem for them against, SJC, Bullis, and Prep.

Overall though, I was really impressed with Gonzaga's athleticism and goalie play, these alone should keep them in most games this Spring.

This is a cool event, I believe it's the 2nd time both leagues have done this. Predictions below

Landon over Episcopal Academy in a very low-scoring contest.
Penn Charter over the Saints
Prep over Haverford in the game of the day
Episcopal VA over Germantown Academy
STA wins big over Chestnut Hill Academy
Bullis wins by a comfortable margin over Malvern Prep (Malvern HOF coach retired last season so they are in a "rebuild" mode)
