My dermatologists keep moving
Does anyone have a female dermatologist in close-in VA that they love? I'm not concerned with cosmetic issues or acne. I just need a vigilant and knowledgable mole-checker for yearly screenings. |
| Dr aria in alexandria. |
| Do a search here, OP. |
I did. Lots of dc and md, very little va. |
| Dr lily Talakoub in McLean. She's near downtown McLean. |
| Clinical Skin Center of Northern VA. Near INOVA Fair Oaks. They have a wonderful female physician's assistant whose name escapes me. |
| I had a good experience with Dr. Faria at Excel Dermatology. They take many different insurances and it doesn't take months to get a new patient appointment. |
| Dr Samantha Toerge. Rt 7 and the beltway. Been seeing her for about 6 years due to ongoing basil and squamous cell cancer. Not sure how 'close in' you want. I'm in arlington and it takes me about 20 mins to get to her office. |
Is she still there? I thought she was in Chevy Chase now? |
+1 for this practice, although I know OP originally asked for a female doc. If you are flexible on that, I highly recommend this place. Dr. Stashower treated my son for recurring staph infections, and they were so good to him. |

Samantha Toerge
chevychasedermatologycenter.com The very best. |
| Dr. Kathy Tieu at Clinical Skin Center of Northern Va is wonderful. I live in Falls Church, but don't mind driving to Fairfax for my skin checks. It's the first place I have found with a focus on skin health rather than mostly appearance and cosmetics. |
