WOW, how times change. My parents often tell the story of a friendly cop giving them a police escort all the way to the hospital when my mom was in labor 40 years ago.

Here's a warning for local moms delivering at Washington Hospital Center- there's a speed camera right near the entrance. My friend's husband got two or three camera tickets the weekend she delivered

I saw that last night on the news...what a foolish cop! Were they even speeding? Weren't they just headed down the emergency lane, for a you know....an emergency!? I hope that cop gets it!

There are also camera around the stops near Sibley hospital. So be careful driving through there too.

The trooper was a complete ass but perhaps they should have allowed him to call an ambulance!
