What does Whole Foods birthday cake taste like?

Should I steer clear of ordering from WF? Kids party birthday cake.

I dont know but we ordered a graduation cake from the Tenley location some years back and it ended up having mold on it. We returned it and they acted like it was a normal occurrence to have a cake returned for mold - no surprise, no apology etc. That was the last WF cake we have bought.

I think WF baked goods are just not good. Everything looks pretty, but tastes like cardboard.

I hate their cake. I think the frosting is nasty and the cake is dry. And I love cake and will eat mst of it even if it isn't good. But I can't choke down WF's cake.

Got a cappuccino cake last year for dh's birthday. It looked great but was very dry. The texture of the butter cream was like crisco. Not worth it. Giant devils food cake is better.
