Cost for WPPSI/WISC-IV assessment

What do parents pay for these private assessments in and around DC? Also, I assume insurance is not covered because it's not required?! Do they conduct any other measures in addition to the general cognitive assessment. Just starting the process....

| It was about $350? $375? Something like that. Definitely not covered by insurance--not remotely medical. And no, the WPPSI is all you get. |

| WES charges $250 and will share score with other schools. All costs are out of pocket. |
