If you have a chance, go watch these DCU teams play next week against Chicago Fire. Results will be similar and you will see why.

It's even crazier when you realize that almost half of the RB teams were kids playing up, in all age groups.

Where do they post the roster ages that you saw?

Staff member friend at red bulls academy said this isn't true

🤣🤣🤣🤔

Because the dc haters say wins and scores doesn't matter

DC loses to NYRB this week
55 posts about score and winning

Can't make up the blatant hypocrisy and immaturity

There is no hypocrisy. It has always been stated that DCU is trash whether they win or lose. And that is true today the same as it was yesterday, last week and last year. NYCFC also had younger kid play DCU same as red bulls. Whether you believe it or not I don't care.

Any neural reader and observer can easily discern you don't care about truths, facts and logic that goes against your anti-dcu crusade

Your energy and focus to tear down kids is astonishing

Your "friend" must not know what's going on then. We watched all the games.

How does watching games tell us you have information on the ages of the players?

You're going to other people's kids games with the singular purpose of rushing to a gossip blog after to disparage the kids. Why?

Wrong. Any neutral reader will know in a matter of seconds that you can't defend DCU against the MASSIVE amounts of evidence presented in this thread that prove it is an academy that isn't worth a damn.

What is more likely, all of the people on here saying the same thing about DCU are lying or the ONE person on here saying, that those people are bad people with some sort of sour grapes motivation is trying to deflect from the main issue? You be the judge.

The truth is DCU isn't a credible academy in the MLS academy landscape. It is FAR behind the best academies and not even really on par with the worst considering it doesn't have its own facilities and makes many of their players and families pay money to participate. No teaching methodology, no consistent results and leadership that gives no craps about the academy. Recipe for failure and DCUs academy is in fact failing. Overall, just not a good place to be.

No one is disparaging the kids. Stop lying and trying to move the goalposts. Just saying DCU is not a good academy that is actually failing the kids who deserve better. Much different.

With the exception of Philadelphia Union, most of the MLS academies operate just like DCU with families paying for school or homestay options. The suggestion that it is different elsewhere is misleading.

If this is your opinion, your kid is just not good enough.

It’s okay to not be. Most aren’t. However, your statement is misleading.

Exactly. Completely misleading. For the top talents at good academiss, the cost is zero. For homestay and schooling. DCU is not a top academy and is not in the same echelon as Union or red bulls or salt lake. It just is what it is.

This is for a very small handful of players, 1-2 per birth year who are typically playing on 2nd team. To imply this is the norm is misleading.

People already admitted sour grapes is their motivation here because dcu rejected 2 of their 3 sons and made offer to a 3rd
Said it was a slap in the face

Their words

How narcissistic to think this way

Here's a hit of irony based on reality

Red Bulls and Philly Union recruit top players from across the country.
Them winning games should be expected.

DCU uses local kids, and still have wins against them and other academies that have national recruitment systems

As a non soccer person, why are the RB and Union fans on here claiming them importing players is good for local players in their areas?
