There are lots of little Mexican shops/bodega-type places in South Arlington. Don't know about MC.

Authentic tortillas are not made of flour. If you want good tex mex try Rio Grande in Bethesda. They have great flour tortillas.

Trader Joe's handmade flour tortillas. They taste very authentic, believe it or not.

The grocery store? Authentic ~ corn, but for flour I like the Natures Promise brand at Giant.

Yes, flour tortillas date back only to 1550 AD. They are really the new kid on the block.

Whole foods has good fresh tortillas they shipinfromNew Mexico. Some of the stores like P St in DC also have a tortilla maker onsite sometimes making fresh tortillas. Guapos in Clarendon also makes tortillas in house with a tortilla maker in the front of the restaurant.

I make my own. Use coconut oil for extra deliciousness.
