Question about DC TAG when tutition is covered by merit scholarship

Assume a DC student is attending an OOS public university and has a scholarship that covers tuition, but not room and board.
Can the $10,000 DC TAG grant be used for room and board, books and fees, etc., or is it only for tuition? |

| See if you can get the OOS school to have the merit scholarship cover R&B instead. IME, the schools take the TAG program into consideration when offering Merit scholarships. |
