Best Place for Picture with Santa?

We used to go to the Tyson's Galleria - which was great - but last year they had a horrible Christmas display - not an ounce of greenery to be found but rather a minimilast/nouveau type of display with silver and blue and lots of spikes - yikes! Would really appreciate suggestions from others. We're down in Alexandria so Fair Oaks, etc. are still okay. Or if someone has seen the Tyson's Galleria set up this year and it looks good, let us know....

Usually on Sundays in Old Town at the Prince St firestation Santa is there with an antique firetruck. It is cool and is for charity. He was there this past Sunday.

I REALLY loved the Santa at White Flint Mall in Rockville! He is so Santa-like and so nice!

the one at columbia mall is nice. they have the kids write letters to santa then put it in a mail box before taking the picture.

Did you see this website of classic Santa photos? Hilarious!

we did ours at tyson's corner this year and i thought it was great - you don't see much in the picture besides your child and santa anyway. (hint: if you have time and aren't impatient, just buy the USB drive and have the prints done by an online service - a lot cheaper that way.)

I wouldn't get close to any Santa again after my experience at Ballston, Arlington. I was with my husband and wanted a picture just to send it to my niece and nephew, and when my husband was taking the picture "Mr. Santa" started to touch me in my back with strange intentions.
Of course I will let my kids take a picture with Santa but being very careful.

We just went to Tysons today and although the line was long Santa was great as usual. Their "display" was a ton of decorated christmas trees. Like a PP said, the only thing you see in the picture though is Santa and his chair.

I haven't been there this year yet, but the Santa and display at the smaller Tysons has always been great.

We took our pics at White Flint earlier this week and I have to disagree. The Santa was ok but the pics were dark and blurry. The kooky lady with the long hair was annoying as well.
