Sorry - this just relates to the CIP hearing. Did not attend state of the schools, so cannot comment.

Poolesville's renovation/modernization got postponed.

When is is scheduled now? I have a 5th grader.

It was supposed to be completed in August 2022, but now it's scheduled for 2024/2025.

Thanks..so MoCo is bursting at the seems with low income students 33 percent of total students. No wonder there is so much focus on kids at the bottom,

No, actually, MCPS is bursting at the seams with all students. Including poor students.

And yes, MCPS should focus on the needs of all students. Including poor students.

The growth has been in poor students 10 years ago 20 percent FARMs now 33 percent. Growth has been in poor k7ds.

How bad is Poolesville? I have trouble believing its in worse shape that our ES that was built for 600 kids but has almost 1000.
