OBs in Alexandria

I'm currently seeing Physicians and Midwives but am not thrilled with the practice. I haven't seem to hit it off with anyone that I have seen so far and am now 24+ weeks.
I am looking to switch and would like some recommendations on private or group practices that are pro-VBACs. My 1st was a c-section and I would like to try for VBAC this time. While some at P&M have been supportive, the doctors have spent time trying to "scare" me about VBACs also. By that I feel that they are trying to steer me towards a C-section again, though no one has outrightly said so.
Anyhow, any recommendations out there for me? TIA

Absolutely check out Dr. Tchabo at Virginia Hospital Center. Best VBAC doctor around. However, be prepared for outrageous wait times -- he is a solo practioner AND he spends quality time with his patients, so combine those two and you find yourself sitting in the waiting room on appointment day. That shouldn't dissuade you from using him, as he's still your very best bet for a successful VBAC.

Dr. Cheryl Ferrier in old town had delivered babies using all kinds of methods (Bradley, Water, C-section, Vaginal....) Her ph# is 703-739-8888. I like her a lot. Good luck.
