He wasn't satisfied just breaking the US economy. He had to go after the global economy as well. 47 will certainly go down as the worst President in US history, even topping 45 in that regard.

That electricity has to come from somewhere to power those EVs. 60% of which is from fossil fuels.

We have solar panels. We've had them for 5 years and we were generating significantly more than we needed. That led us to buy an EV since we would rather use as much of our solar generated electricity as we can. We still get money back.
