The bruise is clear as day in this photo. It’s either a hickey or a bruise from a fight. Given the timing of Kingstons death and the initial reports that it was traumatic head wound (that’s an odd route for suicide), it is notable

While I don’t believe the conspiracy theories, I do think something is going on, for sure. But I think it’s actually more benign or straightforward than what people are proposing - like Kate’s appearance is temporary altered and she doesn’t look like herself, or something like that. But the terrible PR has made it seem so much worse. I indgind it’s a vulnerable time, with Charles ill and nobody really at the helm.

+1. All this hysteria could be so quickly fixed? Put out an official statement that Kate is well and will be seen by an official date and just leave it at that. People will continue to make up theories, but most normal people will just wait until the date to see her. Done.

Unfortunately it’s not an odd route for suicide. These theories are just so far-fetched. I realize that truth can be stranger than fiction…but no.

It’s not the route that was odd but the wording “traumatic head wound”. They don’t say gunshot. The wording is very elusive and open to interpretation and probably intentionally so.

Many people initially thought he fell off a horse or down the stairs or something because the official statement didn’t say suicide or gunshot till days later. It’s odd someone would go outside to shoot themselves where everyone like gardeners or staffers can hear. Gunshots are not noises your hear often in the UK unless you’re hunting in the country so it is odd indeed that days went by before gun shooting was pointed as the COD

The wording wasn’t odd. Due to the occasional contagious nature of suicide and desire for discretion, such details often are withheld in the media nowadays. His cause of death was revealed after the postmortem/autopsy, within a few days, which is quick work. What you’re suggesting is nefarious is instead fairly typical.

In the UK, the public can own rifles and shotguns, but generally not handguns. More than half a million people in the UK held rifle certificates in 2023 in the UK. Gunshots may be rarely heard as you say, but one can safely imagine they’re less rare outside of cities.

The conspiracy-minded really are running amok. It’s also interesting how few are willing to give Catherine the privacy and space she requested, while considering themselves great champions of her.

It's out of character for her but I don't think you can say that about William. Also, sometimes people do things that are out of character if circumstances are bad enough. I know that this is making a lot about a photo and the circumstances surrounding it, but it is pretty shocking that they would have Kate take the fall for submitting a fake photo to the press. Somebody is displeased with her.

But I do think there is a health issue as well; I doubt that she'd stay at a hospital that long for a reason other than a health issue. And the only reason I can think of to keep the kids away from her is that it's pretty bad in some way.

This is so typical of the royal family. None of them know how to actually lead. It’s like when people complained about the queen right after Diana’s death and the queen had no idea what to do.
