+1 for Fortune.
It used to be on Route 7 West of Bailey's Crossroads. Has it moved? |
Have only been to China Garden of these three. It gets really crowded, so go early and be prepared to wait. |
| Fortune is beside Home Depot on Route 50 @ 7 corners. |
yes, now in 7 corners on rt 50 by home depot |

Hong Kong Pearl in Seven Corners is really good.
For something different (not true dim sum - you order off the menu) check out A&J. |
PP here. A&J has two locations. One is in Annandale. I can't find a website but if you google you can find menus. |
| Ditto to Fortune and Hong Kong Pearl (or Hong Kong Pea if you look at their sign!) |
| Just happened to go to Fortune and didn't see dim sum on the menu... is there a separate menu? |
| ask for it |
| Do people still go to Mark's Duck House? That's in the Seven Corners area. Used to be good, but I haven't been in years. |
I went a few months ago and the food was great. Atmosphere, meh. |

Unfortunately, VA doesn't have alot of dim sum that I would consider as Wow I must stand in line for it. It has a large Vietnamese population, meaning, more Vietnamese food options. But, alot of the Vietname are Chinese related so you get some Chinese (Cantonese style) restaurants, that tastes better than the northern style Chinese dim sum.
Hong Kong Pearl, Mark's Duck House and Fortune would be my choice in VA. In Montgomery County, it's different. Dim Sum tastes better on this side of the river. |
| Hollywood east in Wheaton and some dim sum place near the MoCo fairgrounds that a chef friend of mine takes me to |
