Ordering Thanksgiving dinner

Will be 9 months pregnant, with a toddler, no help, bad cook. What would be the best place to order TG dinner or at least turkey? We are ready to spend up to $400.

Balducci's.

We used Giant last year and it was fine. If I had a $400 budget, I'd probably go Whole Foods.

Thanks a lot!!

We ordered from Whole Foods, less than $125 for turkey ready to go in oven, and a few sides. You get to chose 2 of them but if I recall the others are stuffing and cranberries. I think our order will serve 6-8

We used Whole Foods last year, but we order Passover from Balducci's. I have found that it makes sense to order the basics, turkey (they will cook it for you), potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, but the vegetables are not worth it, especially because you can steam veggies in just a few minutes.

We did WF last year when we had a newborn in the house. We did get a turkey ready to go in the oven and reheated the the sides.

It's tempting to do it again with a toddler still running around...

+1. If is great. Tried whole FDS one yr & was disappointed. Went back to balduccis again last yr, and it was excellent. Honestly think it doesn't come our to much more expensive than when I try to cook it all myself

Did WF and it was good.

We did wagshals lat year and will again. Havent done whole foods but if their usual prepared food is any indication, wagshals is way better.

I got a turkey from honey baked ham last year, and I did not like it at all. I was very disappointed, plus I sent my dh to get it, and they were very hard to deal with. If you don't have some specific number or something, they give you a hard time. You can't just tell them your name like you can at Giant. I am never using them again.

This year, I am going to buy a turkey and cook it in my show time rotisserie oven. For sides, I get the Bob Evans sides from the grocery store - mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, then stove top stuffing, a jar of gravy and some veggies. Not that great I know, but it is our tradition to hike on Thanksgiving, so I have to put a meal on the table quickly My kids only eat the mac and cheese any way and maybe some of the turkey drumstick.
