Too many options to list without something to narrow it down. What kind of food do you like? What level of formality? What price range?
The first option that comes to mind, if only because it's a nice walk across Lafayette Park, but the food is also fabulous, would be Oval Room. Central is a short 5-block walk, but would be another contender because everyone likes the food there. (French, informal, with an American twist.) |

| Ceiba is a great option. The steakhouse in the W (J&G) receives very mixed reviews but I like it. Woodward Table is nearby and gets good reviews (haven't tried it yet). Hamilton is also close. The food is just okay, but there is huge variety. There is a restaurant in the National Press Club (Fourth Estate, I think). It has been a few years since I've eaten there but it is a hidden gem. |

| Just eat at the J&G Steakhouse at the W. I haven't been since they remodeled, but it had been very good previously. |
