Ballpark Cost for Basement Renovation

We currently have a finished basement (rec room, bathroom, and spare bedroom). I would like to rip out the carpeting and re-do the flooring and trim throughout the basement. Might need a little drywall repair as well. What sort of ballpark cost am I looking at here?

$15k? Depends on the square footage and how fancy you want. The carpet alone on my newly finished basement was $7k.

Much of it depends on the type of flooring you get...prices can range from $1 per square foot and up. Also need to include labor. carpet is least expensive and does warm up a basement. Engineered flooring that looks like hardwood - and now tiles (which i think look great - I have never liked engineered flooring that is fake hardwood.) Is a little more expensive to install but also starts at $1 or so a square foot. Trim shouldnt be too expenisve - $500 ish for everything - hardest thing will be to find someone to do the work!
