Hello all,
I have been contemplating breaking into the consulting business for a while now. It would be a good fit for my family. After evaluating my strengths and knowledge the main component that I come back with is research and analysis. I've tried getting part time work in this area as a background investigator but have not gotten calls back. I am looking into branding myself as a research consultant and would love to hear from anyone on here who has gone into consulting themselves. Suggestions? Tips? Are there any sort of online databases or firms that assist in finding work? (Like Wyzant is for Tutoring, something for this field?) I am aware of Odesk, Flexjobs and Freelancer. Thanks!! |
