Does anyone have a "skilled nurse" in their IEP? I have been asking for a dedicated aide from DCPS for my child who has 10 drop seizures per day to monitor his seizures and provide any medical care as required when he falls, and have been told I can get a provisional one for a month and then DCPS will determine if my child really needs a dedicated aide. But an advocate told me that I need a Skilled Nurse, not a Dedicated Aide, and that if my child's physician signs some "Skilled Nurse" form then DCPS has to provide him a skilled nurse. But DCPS never told me about a Skilled Nurse.
