For some reason I did not purchase our tickets yet and I've watched them go from $632 to $768 to go from here to CA for xmas. What does the collective wisdom of DCUM think, any chance they'll go back down? We don't have a ton of flexibility on our dates unfortunately. It's compounded by the fact that DS just turned 2 so we are now buying 3 tickets...

| Book with orbitz. If anyone else books your same itinerary later at a lower price, they will automatically refund the difference. They really do it, I have gotten refunds of $100-300. It has to be the same itinerary both ways. |
| thanks - I'll look at orbitz. Do you have to pay an airline change fee if the price goes down? |
No, you are not changing your flight in anyway. |
yeah, I see that now. but it looks like it's only valid if I find a lower price the same day I book the original flight? Is that correct? |
No, it doesn't have anything to do with you. If you book a flight for x price on Orbitz, then prices go down and someone else buys the same itinerary for less money, then you get the difference in a refund. My MIL has a gotten a refund many times on Thanksgiving flights. |
| but does the lower price have to be found on the same day as I book on orbitz originally? I am reading the fine print on their website. |

UGH. Just found this page. Looks like they've discontinued that program.
