I'm gonna have to give best win of any vhsl public this season to robo over broadneck

Broadneck had a OK season LA had some major wins not even close.

What was LA’s best win? Broadneck beat Cape Henlopen, who beat Bullis… nice try

To be fair bullis came 4th in the IAC this year, they aren’t like loomis or lawrencville

Bullis was the #1 seed going into the IAC tournament. They beat every single IAC team this season, and went undefeated against some of the top WCAC teams…. To be fair

YT vs Madison is interesting. The first game was not close, but YT has outperformed Madison against the same competition since the battlefield game. Should be a fun one.

They have shooters and dodgers and they are picking apart bad defenses and mediocre shots are going in on so so goalies. Defense is solid. Offense is meh in my take. I actually think their defense is more of an asset than their offense. They force it and turn it over in the middle of the field and on offense more than most of the good teams in this area. If BF plays better defense than their first couple outings and their goalie goes 50% they should win. Any of the top contender coaches in 6a, Madison, Robo, YT, Cobsy will be able to gameplan very well against Indy.

I cant disagree with you more. They and Battlefield are the only two team I have watched that generate consistent offense. What I see is that what you may call mediocre shots are just dump-ins and easy goals. I have been on the forum for several years and have noted that far too many kids these days think a 15+yard high to high is a good shot. There is a reason the PLL gives 2 for a 15+yd shot, as they are low percentage.
Having watched them a ton last year in 5 an d enough this year, you will not shut them down and game plan, as they have 9 players on the field that can and will score on you at any given time. They remind me of Riverside a few years back.

Good luck out there in FFX and class 6, Indy will win states this year.

Robinson hasn’t won ten + state titles for nothing. They’ll have something to say

This sound like the stuff Riverside posts. History is great and all, how many kids were on those 10 past championships and still in the team today.

Round 2 loss to Madison in the state playoffs

I've got Madison over Yorktown by 1.

I agree. Broadneck played in the Maryland state finals and lost to Urbana. LA is…in Illinois😂

My point is that coaching and program matter.

Yorktown by 3, the first matchup was so long ago that I think that recency matters more. Yorktown has looked much better as of late.

Is a berth in the Maryland State Championship game just an okay season?😂

Loved that guy, took lot of effort/integrity to accurately summarize strengths/weaknesses of each team. Even on as polarized site as this, there were very few disputes with his rankings/analysis. If I had to guess: seems like this forum deteriorated into lame comments and dumb laxnumbers "algorithms".... not surprised it took all the fun out of his efforts (which were substantial).

agree. the bots took over this forum, from AI and algorithms to certain "tool" coaches thumping their chests. the rivalry posts between nova teams was fun but now... not so much.
fun night tonight and tomorrow with the 6a games to determine the seedings for states. I could see YT/Madison going either way. Both are playing well. I think Robinson handles Weptpo but something tells me that's going to be closer than one would have thought.
