How my kid explains his ADHD brain

Smile, it's Thursday. So last week we took our DS to NYC and saw this great show "Matilda" since DS is very much into Roald Dahl these days. He's an ADHD/Combined and was frankly, very relieved when we told him his diagnosis at age 8. He's now 9.
He heard this song in the show and after exclaimed, "This is exactly what my brain is like, Mom. Revoltin' brain in revoltin' times"

Ah yes.
"My brain is like a TV that I can't turn off. This is why I can't listen to you when you talk, Mommy." He was 4 at the time. At 5, he was diagnosed with ADHD, inattentive. |

| This is what I imagine my son's second grade class looks like. He describes his teacher as just like this one and his teacher seems to describe him as just like these kids. |
