MidAtlantic Academy League. Some tough competition at the top of the bracket and lesser at the bottom of the bracket. Think the top VRSC team likely seeded lower in this age division.

(They should have come up with a different naming convention than "Pre MLS Second Tier" for their second teams. That just sounds so sad to be "Pre-" anything when kids are in high school.

U15-19 Pre-MLS are in NCSL for the fall and then NAL in the winter/spring.

Majority of teams are in MD/PA where High School is played in the fall so NAL starts after their HS season ends.

Call it rec, travel, whatever you want. It’s all just pay to play kids soccer no matter which league they play in. If you think it’s only worth the money for the “right” league, you don’t get how all this works yet. I guess you are a newbie.

Go look on Loudoun Soccers travel page (not the MLS (NVA)/MLS Next) and it shows NCSL for their travel teams. These would be the same as VRSC's "Pre-MLS Next teams. So they are showing to be playing in the same league. So are they also wannabe teams? Because basically all of the players in both clubs are working toward making the higher teams, just because one names their teams by colors and one decides to name theirs Pre-MLS Next 2 they are the same. VRSC has their rec and academy teams that are not part of their travel teams so why would they name them one of those? Bottom line does the name matter, as long as they know where they are playing and what they can move up to with development.

You are all such hatters and you are most likely going to the other clubs threads and hatting their too. This is kid soccer let the kids play and where they choose to play is their own business, if you don't like a club take your kid elsewhere and don't come here bashing other clubs just because you didn't get what you wanted there.

According to their site, that's their THIRD team in that age group.
1st team: Pre MLS Next 1
2nd team: Pre MLS Next 2
3rd team: Black
4th teaam: Gold
5th team: white
