Using sunroom in winter

Anonymous
We have a sunroom that we love and use daily, but it's unheated. When we leave the sliding door between the sunroom and the main living area of the house all day, it stays comfortable. At night we close it up to save energy, and the temp drops in there drastically in the winter when we do this. It probably gets down into the low 50's (maybe 40's?) at night. What plants could tolerate this and look good in an indoor space? Is it weird to have conifers indoors? In the spring/summer/fall I have it full of all kinds of beautiful plants, but they won't tolerate the winter nights.

Pansies.

Cyclamen love cooler weather. Cast Iron plants, clivia, lots of citrus (think calamondin orange and lemons), jade plants, aralias, creeping fig, Norfolk Island Pine, and those little potted azaleas and miniature roses that are popular in grocery stores, etc.

Oh, and some orchids love the cooler weather and need it to re-bloom
