| I am cleaning tiny handprints off it every time I turn around. I am looking at applicances that still look good and are easier to keep clean but appliance companies are slow to move on better finishes, apparently. |

No one stopping you from buying white appliances, or bisque.
Vote with your dollars. Put your money where your mouth is. |

I have all stainless steel appliances. Only one has an awful finish, but it's the fridge and is the most used appliance! ugh. I use pledge (wood polish) on it and it helps keep it nice the best, but still.
No idea why some ss appliances have different finishes and they all don't make easy to clean ones. |
| I bought wood paneled appliances - no finger prints and blends into cabinets. |
| Ugh I hear you. DH bought a stainless steel grill. WTF. It is impossible to keep clean. Our fridge, oven, and microwave all came with the house and are stainless steel. I've been working on DH to replace them because it drives me nuts to constantly be cleaning them. |

Are you cleaning for looks or is there some issue in functionality?
We have SS samsung fridge and it doesn't show finger prints. |
Use Armor All wipes (pre-moistened). It removes all of the handprints and it will look beautiful. Apparently it contains the same ingredients as the stainless steel wipes. |
| Have a glass of wine. |
| I hate my stainless steel appliances (which came with the house). Replacing them with black appliances as soon as one of them dies. Tempted to speed up the process by killing one if them. |
| Anyone have the new slate appliances? They look cool, and I crave them. |
| I saw a show about a mom who was also constantly wiping off prints. They tried to teach her to relax and go with the flow a little more. Maybe you could try that. |
Lol. +1. |
Me too. |

We got all SS appliances when we remodeled in 2007.
Not all SS are created equal- some show fingerprints, some don't. The fridge shows fingerprints, our dishwasher does not. It depends on the finish. The fridge drove me crazy for a while. It only stopped driving me crazy when I decided it wasn't a big deal to have fingerprints. I don't even think about it anymore. |
