Hilaria Baldwin - At it again

I can’t help but feel bad for him. He has a bad rep but he has always been a kind and charming member of this community. I wish his wife would just apologize, donate to a good cause, and then go on to live a low-profile life with her cute babies.

One nanny per child is just gross. Quite the lady of the manor.

It’s the thing very wealthy people do, not just celebrities. It’s a bit a bit icky, I agree. And it’s even ickiest when, in numerous interviews, Hilaria doesn’t acknowledge that she “makes it work” by employing a team of nannies. There’s the Today Show interview - just one example - where she tells Hoda Kotb that she’s just very organized and efficient and that’s how she can manage five young children. No mention whatsoever of help. I don’t care that she has nannies - but don’t pretend you’re mom of the year juggling it all on your own.

And that’s what’s so off putting. She’s a phony and a pretender. She’s a show off. She posts pictures of her near-naked body (which yes, is incredible) but wants to position it as her being vulnerable and about inspiring body positivity and inclusivity. It’s not about that at all; it’s about “I’m hot, aspire to be me”. Just say you’re a thirsty wanna be. I’d have more respect.

So when she takes pics for IG, does she make the nannies get out of the shot? I've had a nanny before, but we didn't treat her like this--makes me cringe to see how people treat "the help."

That’s what lots of celebrities do and you’re right, it is gross. Angelina Jolie and Madonna come to mind (not on social media but in their pre-approved media shots. I’m sure if they did social media they’d do the same)

I agree! If you can afford help, go for it! I would totally hire a nanny (and a chef and a trainer) if I could! No shame! But don’t pretend you’re doing this on your own. Don’t lead your 800k followers to believe that you have figured out the formula to raising 5 small children all by yourself. And even though you’re busy, you make it a point to find time to run and workout and we can do it too! Girl you “found” time cuz your nannies “gave” you time. Be real!

I'm curious how GP is IRL? The whole GOOP thing is super pretentious and it's generally acceptable to roll your eyes at her. But she always comes across as pretty friendly and charming in interviews and I've never heard any gossip about her being jerky to people.

Getting back to the theme of the thread, I blame Alec Baldwin because SNL isn't funny anymore either and somehow that has to be his fault.

Are there video clips of HB speaking Spanish. As a native speaker myself I want to hear how she faked speaking Spanish. Also, how did the Spanish press not know she didn't speak Spanish well? They must have been suspicious.
