“Being wrong” is for Democrats and minorities and women. Rich white Republican guys can never be wrong because might makes right! |
I don’t know but I really miss the days when Republican politicians could at least pretend to uphold norms. |
It’s a cult and the cult leader takes revenge on anyone who steps out of line. The primaries ended yesterday though so maybe? Nah. |
Because they have been rewarded over and over and over again for doubling down. Never admit wrongdoing. That's for the weak. It's the Trump playbook. Their supporters eat this stuff up. |
|
Where is the poster who said they were sure it was going to be about nuclear power plants. LOL
What say you now? |
Maybe he forgot the quotation marks. It's perhaps some country's "nuclear plants". Not nuclear plants. Thus revealing sources and methods. |
| Trump himself has been talking about 'nuclear', how nothing's been found, and so on. |
Well Rubio has a hard senate race coming up - he does not want to lose that to a Black woman, does he? |
Re-reading this, I think you're right, it probably is Iran. And how do we know? Because loudmouth and chief Trump sycophant Kash Patel has told us. (Remember, Kash was the only person mentioned by name in the DOJ filing.) Listen to the first couple of minutes of Kash's podcast from March where he says he and Trump think Iran were only a couple of months away from a nuclear weapon and that Trump "closely followed" the intelligence on Iran's nuclear program. And that he couldn't go into details because it was "sensitive and classified," but Trump thinks Iran is close to a nuclear weapon or nuclear weapons grade material. So why would Trump keep intelligence relating to that? To hide it from the Biden administration? If that part is true, how would GOP think this is okay? Trying to harm your successor by hiding national security information got to be absolutely tresonous activity. |
| Why is this taking so long to just get to an arrest or dropped case? |
One does not go around arresting ex-Presidents without having an absolutely airtight case. Which is hampered now, by the judge's ruling. Obviously, if he's never charged, he's never charged. There is no 'dropped case'. |
I doubt that is the case. I think there is plenty short of that to indict him anyway. More thank likely he was using the information as leverage. It’s not likely the intelligence itself was inaccessible to Biden, just not that particular piece of paper. -DP |
