My kids go there. 1st + 3rd grade. We like it a lot. Did you have anything specific you wanted to know? I grew up in DC and went to all kinds of schools here, I think I would've liked Sheridan.

There is only one class per grade so if you want a larger school, it probably isn't the place for you.

well, it's a mix. I think for the most part the parents who are happiest w/Sheridan are low-key. It is most certainly not a pressure cooker type of school and if you are looking to have a school where academic rigor is paramount (maybe like Sidwell or the Md public schools or something) then you may not be happy there. I'm sure the parent body are monied (just because the tuition is expensive) but it isn't a place where people really show off their wealth (and if they try to they are usually stopped by the administration). The school isn't diverse in the way maybe Lowell is, they could certainly do some work there. It is, however, a school where (and I kid you not) every child knows every other child by name. It's a sweet community. For some, it could be a little precious but, heck, the elementary years go by so quickly...so who cares?
