Success using agave nectur in lieu of sugar?

I hear it is an alternative but I don't want to risk an entir recipe for it to turn out gross. Do you have any success stories?

Yes, it's easy to substitute. But why do you want to do so? The health claims associated with it are overstated. I like it in Mexican food and some mixed drinks but you may want a clear idea of why you're using it before bothering to work out substitutions.

Agave is pretty over processed. Try using less sugar.
