Just want to mention that I heard that GIVF is offering free consults through the end of the year. Even though I ultimately got pregnant on my own (a miracle!) I was always treated with kindness and respect from the staff at GIVF- front desk, nursing, and physicians. Dr. K called me personally to discuss test results and answer questions many times. We would have continued treatment there if we had not run out of insurance benefits!

Dr. K got me pregnant 2x. The staff there really are kind. When my nuchal screen came back abnormally high, Dr. Stern saw me within 2 hours for a CVS. I requested my favorite ultrasound tech and she cut her lunch short to do the procedure with Dr. Stern. And when I was on monitoring and there was just no where else to stick me for the blood draw, the tech grabbed the anesthesiologist who happened to be walking into work that day so he could do the blood draw. I can't rave about them enough.

This might be a dumb question but what is GiVF?

I’ve been in treatment at GIVF and I love them. The nurses have been great, explaining everything in detail and taking a lot of time with me. Dr. Udoff was amazing when I was nervous about my RET, I definitely felt like I was in good hands. Even when we decided to cancel my first cycle for poor response, Dr. Lincoln told it to me straight which I appreciated. He gave me the option of continuing but recommended I stop and regroup with a different protocol since I wasn’t responding well. I hated to cancel but knew he was right, and ended up doing much better the next cycle. I have friends who are at SG and when they talk about the crowds it blows my mind. I much prefer the calm atmosphere at GIVF where I know everyone and they know me.

I only did a few blood draws and u/s at GIVF (monitoring for an out-of-town cycle), but I wasn't all that impressed. The nurses were super cranky and the REs didn't do the u/s. Maybe I caught them on a bad week though.

I am somewhat new to this board. It seems like everyone only talks about cFA and shady grove. How come not as many people go here?

OP poster here- that was not my experience at all. The staff was very supportive during the entire process and I felt I was in good hands. Since they are offering free consults why not get a 1st or 2nd opinion and decide for yourself!

It seems like they always have some sort of specials going on at the end of the year.
