Crafts/activities with kids blogs?

| I'm so not the crafty type and couldn't come up with good crafty activities if my life depended on it. But, I want to do those things with my kids occasionally, especially now that the winter months are around the corner and we won't be outside as much. Are there any good blogs out there that have simple, yet fun ideas? I realize Pinterest is good for this kind of thing, but I feel so overwhelmed by Pinterest. See, even the Pinterest website is too crafty for me to handle! I really do wish that part of my brain worked better! |

| OP, I hear you about Pintrest. I take a search term and start with that. Try something you have in the house, such as searching "crayons" or "construction paper" on Pintrest and see if anything good comes up. |

Oh! And sometimes I find a good craft and the picture and led me to a great blog I start following. |

Subscribe to Kiwi Crate. Your kid gets a box in the mail every month with themed art projects. They also have a Pinterest site with ideas for extending the projects/theme.
