I'd like to find a fun, funky but versatile handbag . . . under $100. Anyone up for the challenge? Or is it hopeless?

| Target, but with mystery leather. |
| Yeah I have one from Target (small cross body) that people compliment and even ask me if it's Michael Kors... |
| Target: Merona® Mid Bucket Hobo Handbag - Yellow |
| For unusual, how about something from Ten Thousand Villages (ethnic, fair trade). |
| Big Buddha. Some look cheap, but many styles don't. All are bright and fun. |

Mystery leather, but you can tell yourself it was designed by a hip young graduate of a NYC fashion school. |
Melle Bianco has gorgeous bags! Once bought her clutch to a friend of mine. The friend is very fashion savvy and uses that clutch all the time. |
I love these! But most are over $100. I get most all my bags at Marshall's, Nordstrom Rack and the like. I have a couple from Target too. |

The sak.
I know that they considered uncool but some of their bags are cute and I love the colors. I have several bags from their Iris line and love them all. |
| Brooks Brothers outlet and online clearance. The leather is excellent. I got a wonderful tote 3 yrs ago for $90 and it still looks great. Markdown on clearance bags is usually 50% |
careful with the mystery leather -- I've worn out 2 or 3 of her bags because I packed the purse too full. The "leather" stretches, bunches, and then tears. |
| I have been looking on Etsy. I know there must be some great bags there but there are so many it's overwhelming. |
"Vegan materials" is the new "mystery leather" so it's hip now

ModCloth has some Melie Bianco, all for under $100. |
