Great restaurant in Dupont?

| Old friends are coming to town and we're having dinner next week. Haven't gone out in Dupont in years. They are staying at 19th and Conn and so might not want to walk all the way to 14th Street (otherwise we'd go there, to Estadio). What's good around Dupont? Great food and atmosphere is important. Thanks. |

DGS Deli is right there and just got rave reviews in the Post's new fall dining guide.

DGS Deli is the best recommendation so far. Not much in dupont these days, sadly. If you're looking for something more casual, pizzeria paradiso is good too. Or Mari Vanna has a nice atmosphere. |

I've wanted to try Bar Charley. It's new, but has been getting great reviews. |
