Didn't google get all up in your business for the explicit forum? So why are they now running "Dominance by Equinox" ads (whateverthehell that is) on your sidebars, with strategically posed nekkid people looking sultry??

Lol. you clearly don't know how Google Ads work. I am learning Spanish, am earning my MSN, and have a 10 month old. My ads are either in Spanish, about nursing schools, or about something to do with babies.

Right, and I'm seeing lots of ads halloween costumes, which makes sense given what I'm looking at content wise. However, I'm also seeing tires. Which is weird. We don't own a car, we have no plans to replace the tires on our nonexistent car, nor are we in the market for a nice old-timey swing....

I don't think ANYONE knows how google ads work. I think that's kind of their stock in trade.

It can also work by what threads you've been reading (I believe). I came on here before I had kids but read some of the child related threads and would see ads for kids related things all the time. Either way, OP is either reading explicit threads or someone is using her computer to look up stuff. I don't think Jeff is putting up the ads on his own.

Oh my god, I can't believe you wrote that. Of course no on thinks Jeff is putting up ads on his own! That's like thinking that your postman is sorting through circulars every morning and deciding that YOU are a Sears kind of household.

Despite everyone giving you a hard time, I was thinking the same thing earlier. I also have been seeing those ads and I agree with you that it is odd for Google to threaten to cut off ads because of "words", but then display these ads on the site. As for the other previous poster, I am fat, but I don't think Google knows that (though I suppose they do now). I have already complained to Google about those ads, but I don't think that will make any difference.
