| We're moving to McLean & I'm not very familiar with the area. We are zoned for Springhill Elem. Any recs for preschools in that area? Thank you! |
| Country Day School or Langley. I think those are the 2 most popular in McLean. |
| You will also be near two church preschools: one at Providence Baptist and one at St. Thomas Episcopal. Both have been around a very long while and have good reputations. |
| I recommend Redeemer. |
| Didn't like St Thomas Episcopal |
| On the other size of Rt. 7 from you is Fiore Montessori and Chesterbrook Academy. And if you don't mind going away from DC by 15 minutes, there's Village Green in Great Falls |
| Trinity United Methodist (on Rte. 123 near center of McLean) is a small play-based preschool. When my kids attended Trinity, there were a few families with kids at Springhill. |
| St Luke's Catholic Church on Georgetown Pike just started a preschool. |
| McLean Children's Academy |
They are excellent. |
I do not. Pulled our kid out from it. |
| Andrew Chapel on the other side of Route 7 in Vienna is good. |
Isn't that a daycare, or am I thinking of somewhere else? |
. Yes, it is. It is a mess of a place because it also tries to masquerade as a preschool and has some kids who come for part of the time but end up feeling left out. |
It is a pre-school. Definitely not a day care. Why do I feel like there is one person who had a bad experience there that is constantly talking trash on this board? I am sorry you had a bad experience but many of us have had (and are having) great experiences. I think you have gotten your revenge on the school with your smearing campaign. Move on. |
