Longchamp Le Pilage

What color would you choose? I mostly wear black, gray, white and dark or olive green. Never wear anything in the brown family.
I was thinking maybe dark red? I love red/burgundy accessories. How red is it? Haven't seen a red one for sale in the stores and can't figure out the exact color online.

I might have an opportunity to ask my mom to buy me one in France. Is it cheaper over there ?

Thanks

I bought an orange one on sale, its a nice little pop of color in the autumn. All my other bags are black.

These were trendy maybe 5 years ago. Not anymore.

I don't care about trendy. I need it for travelling and carry my kids stuff.

Thank you

That could be an option. Is it burnt orange or more of a neon orange?
My local nordstrom only has navy, gray etc.

Thanks

What is trendy now?

sort of useful -- you can cram a lot of stuff into them -- sort of not -- only one interior pocket, so everything gets kind of jumbled together

for this reason, mine have been passed along to my 16 y.o. DD, who loves them, as do all her pals and our sons' girl friends from college

I wouldn't say their trendy -- they've been around for a long time and seem to have staying power -- but, as the above suggests, they might be a bit girlish

They make great travel bags--lightweight and roomy.

Disregard this.

These bags have been a staple for French women for more than 30 years.

+1

As a day to day bag, they're lacking. But as a travel bag or a spare shopper, they're great. I have black and navy, but I'm boring.

Would it kill the company to add in a zippered side pocket that fits my phone/wallet/keys and an internal slot for my iPad or boarding passes?

OP here again,
Are these bags sturdy?
I heard that they are and I need something that can be thrown around and be used in rain and snow. I only use leather bags that need to be pampered so I really want a nice looking bag that won't need so much attention.

The Longchamp should fit the bill, particularly in a darker color. My mom has one in pink that can show dirt.

I think they've crossed the line from trend to staple.
