Baby size and EDD

Ladies
Maybe i am going too crazy digging too dip into my u/s reports, but....
Here is a new problem I found to worry about. From week 12 my baby was measuring 1 week ahead.
At 21 week BPD, HC, FL and AC were about 1 week ahead my EDD. At 29 weeks FL and AC are at 29 weeks and BPD and HC are about 2 weeks ahead. It kind of tells that head started growing even faster and stomac and leg kind of stowed down. I.e. there is 2-week difference between head and leg/stomac. I am now going crazy about these number. I read that 3rd trimester measurements are often unreliable, but still ..... Maybe somebody know some web sites where charts would show what is normal for what GA???

I was in the exact same boat and fretting. My OB implored me to stop because it was common for head to be measuring bigger. I was always measuring ahead. I ended up having a largish baby, but not insane. You'd think I was giving birth to an elephant the way I was measuring. Don't worry.

Thank you very much. I did hear that usually head grows faster and usually 3rd trimester measurements are not very accurate.

There are lots of gaps between measurements. It is totally normal. If you have any concerns though, you should bring this up with the doc.

Well, the doctor is not concerned at all. It is just my crazy digging into numbers... I searched inetrent and found very different information from being totally normal to potential abnormalties (like soft markers). That's what drives me crazy/

The biggest mistake is to look at Google when you're pregnant!

That is so much true. I woke up at 6am today and was thinking about the sizes, and tried to stay in bed until 8am, could not, went to google.

My Ultrasounds showed my son's head being extremely large, but it wasn't. At his first ped. appointment at 4 days old, it was only like 60th percentile (though at 8 lbs and 21 inches at birth, he was much higher in those areas). So try not to worry... The U/S measurements are not always that accurate.

The range of error the futher along you're in the pregnancy swings like 2 weeks- I flipped out a lot too.. I also thought my son would be super short legged due to his femur measuring behind- but he's not.. neither was my daughter who i also fretted about.. just try to remember than the range of error is HUGE
