| Yes I know it's a copout in terms of going out for Thai food, but Thursday is cheat day and I'm really, REALLY craving pad thai. So many Thai restaurants in Alexandria - any place a cut above the rest? |
| I think Thai Square on Columbia Pike in Arlington is worth traveling for. |
YES. Thai Square is fantastic. I go out of my way to eat there. Though I've never ordered pad thai. OP, you might want to try pad see ew--similar flavor profile. It is SO good at Thai Square. They use real Chinese broccoli (most places just use regular broccoli). |
| Not in Alexandria, but near Thai Square, is Bangkok 54. Love all of their thai noodle dishes - including Pad Thai! |
| Mai Thai in old town |
| Po Siam. The best country style noodle soup in this entire area. |
I believe Po Siam closed. |

Thanks all for the suggestions for some new places to try!
I decided to go to Sang Jun on King Street, which was fantastic! Flavorful, not too sweet, and great portion sizes. Highly recommend! |
