Amy Tuteur MD trolling on expectant parents

Can you find out if it is her with the home birth thread sock puppeting? She is an indefatigable self-promoting troll artist. Just wondering if you can at least force her to identify herself since she claims to be a "doctor." She is a very prolific troll all over the internet - does her best to direct traffic back to her own blog.

1548 quotes back to her website on this page and the next few posts look like they are hers, as well, but I also think she's posted previously - may even have been the OP. Just wondering if she really posts here - lots of us suspect it's her, trawling up clicks to her blog.

I just want to identify her because she's an unmedicated birth fanatic with a huge agenda nad axe to grind. She literally scours the internet and posts commentary on essays, blogs, and message boards about home birth, intending both to provoke and of course, to direct traffic to her own blog. A troll indeed.

Uh, if so she sure took her sweet time in the thread before mentioning skeptical ob. Don't you think it's more likely that Dr Teuter has a google alert set for homebirth threads?

Dr. Amy posts everywhere under her own name. She is not, nor will she ever be, afraid to use her own name. Why if you see her post everyone on the internet under her own name would you think she'd come here to post under a sock puppet or a pseudonym. Do you even understand common sense?

I think it is pretty well-known that she and her "minions" scour the internet and do indeed post anonymously. I didn't follow the thread closely enough to have an informed opinion but it is certainly part of the pattern.

The poster that posted the link does not fit a pattern consistent with a troll. The poster did post two consecutive messages, but didn't appear to be hiding the multiple posts (the second one began "moreover") and is not sock puppeting.

There are some people who do have alerts set. Largely because we are attempting to combat a rising tide of misinformation that is beginning to cost babies their lives.
